THOMAS VON LÜDINGHAUSEN
German flutist Thomas von Lüdinghausen is Co-Principal flute player with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra and is teaching the flute at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart/Germany.
Thomas studied with Robert Aitken in Freiburg im Breisgau and Ulf-Dieter-Schaaff in Weimar.
He started his orchestral career as a member of the „Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra“. This was followed by engagements with some of the major german orchestras such as the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra and the Staatskapelle Berlin. His position with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra Thomas holds since 2002.
Thomas von Lüdinghausen performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician and is giving workshops and masterclasses throughout Europe and Asia.
He´s been a guest flutist with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and has given several masterclasses in Singapore in recent years.
